New Zealand’s Bruce McLaren won the thirtieth Australian Grand Prix at Longford, Tasmania, today, driving a Cooper-Climax into first place 11 seconds ahead of Jack Brabham in a RepcoBrabham Climax. The American, Phil Hill, was third in another Cooper Climax. On Saturday McLaren won the Tasmanian motor road racing championships.
