Sport On Television

Sir, —Seven thousand persons at Lancaster Park in Saturday’s gale should answer all those who think that our love of cricket is dying. With many others, I went because the first hour on television gave me a cricket appetite. I hope the Cricket Council remembers that. Rugby Union please take note! Rugby games are televised in Australia and you report a 25 per cent increase at gates last season.—Yours, etc., \ J. LITTLE. February 15, 1965.
