DESTROYED
Star of the Sea, an unraced filly in G. R. Pel-ling’s team, had to be destroyed after being injured at Riccarton yesterday. She had two tendons badly damaged when she was galloped on and it was found impossible to save her.
Owned by her Oamaru breeder, Mr M. As pros, Star of the Sea was by Dogger Bank from Sword Dancer.
