Three Houses Sold

A two-storey weatherboard house at 5 Stambridge place, Cashmere, was sold for £3750 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr N. H. McCrostie.

The initial bid was £2OOO. There were 11 bids of £lOO and 13 of £5O.

The house has two livingrooms, four bedrooms, balcony, kitchen, and bathroom. The Government valuation is £3450.

It was a mortgagee’s sale. Two houses, one at 94 Cuffs road, Wainoni, and one at 6 Middlepark road, Yaldhurst. have been sold by private treaty by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. Both properties were passed in when offered at auction recently.
