Missionaries Needed
(N’.Z. Press Association < AUCKLAND, Nov. 8. The Presbyterian Church still needed missionaries and money to finance them, the Church’s General Assembly was told on Friday. On every field, missionaries were aware not only of the urgency of their work, but also of the advances which could be made if further sources of manpower and money were available. Mr J. S. Murray (secretary), presenting the overseas missions committee report, said “We have felt the urgency of the financial situation and of the necessity to limit our response to the pleas for increasing help, to the resources made available through the giving of the home church ”
