Hilbert (Germany), 86.53; T. Fedosova (U.S.S.R.), 85.85; K. Babuchi (Japan). 85.27; K. Watanabe (Japan), 84.40. Soccer First Round Three preliminary rounds are played by each team in the four groups after which the leading two teams In each group play the quarter-finals. Group A.—Germany 4, Iran 0 (half-time, 2-0); Rumania 3. Mexico 1 (half-time. 2-0). Group B.—Hungary 6, Morocco 0 (half-time, 2-0). Water Polo (Each team plays two matches In each of four groups after which the leading team in eacli group plays the semi-finals and the second leading team in each group plays-off for positions five to eight.) Group A.—U.S.S.R. 6, Australia 0 (half-time. 2-0); Italy 4. Rumania 3 (half-time, 2-2). Group C.—Jugoslavia 2, U.S.A. 1 (half-time, 1-1); Netherlands 3, Brazil 2 (half-time. 2-1). Group D.—Hungary 11, United Arab Republic 1 (half-time. 5-0).
