LACK OF SUPPORT
Bible Class Committee The bible class district committee was facing serious problems, said the Rev. J. S. Scarlet at a meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery. The committee had spent many hours of work trying to bring new life to the movement, he said. Some of the lack of support must stem from a lack of leadership from the clergy. The four divisions under the new organisation had only five to seven members each, and this was well under the intended strength, Mr Scarlet said. Help was needed, in the way of leadership, for Easter camps and the control and development of camp sites.
