The New Zealand interservices winter tournament continued at Burnham yesterday with golf occupying most of the attention. Results were:— Carter Cup.—Second round: Army 15, Navy 9: Air Force 15. Police 9. Foursome bogey: Brigadier A. H. Andrews and W.0.2 J. B. Crawford (Army) 1, Squadron Leader R. F. Lafferty and Flying-Officer J. R, Hudson (Air Force) 2. Single stableford E/M R. W. Harris (Navy) 1, E/M D. F. Watts (Navy) 2. Constable R. S. Lovegrove (Police) 3. Results of Indoor basketball: Men.—Police 52. Navy 46; Army 45, Air Force 20: Police 63. Army 34.
