Churchill’s Thanks
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 27. Sir Winston Churchill today conveyed his “heartfelt thanks” for a resolution passed in the House of Representatives on the occasion of his retirement from the House of Commons. In a letter, read in Parliament today by the Speaker (Sir Ronald Algie), Sir Winston said the resolution had given great pleasure to himself and to his family.
