KLOKKER AT SEA AGAIN
Tiki Leaves Whangaroa (N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Aug. 24. Peter Klokker, the 39-year-old Danish yachtsman, sailed out of Whangaroa harbour yesterday, bound for his home town, Kerteminde, Denmark. Mr Klokker caused a stir when he left Whangarei at the end of July after refusing to let the Marine Department inspect his yacht, the Tiki.
Sickness after two days at. sea made him take refuge in Whangaroa, where he again refused to allow an inspection.
Another yacht, the 27ft Driftwood, left Northland during the week-end. Herb and Joan Happoldt, an American couple who have been touring New Zealand for the last 18 months, sailed from Whangarei for New Caledonia.
