ONE KILLED, SIX HURT
(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 24. . An elderly man was killed and six young persons injured, one critically, when two ears collided last evening at the intersection of Queens drive and Hungerford road, Lyall Bay. The dead man was Alfred Arthur Henderson, aged 70 of. Melbourne road, Island Bay. He was travelling alone. Seriously injured was Miss Sealgh Therse O’Neill, aged 17, typist, of Kilbirnie, head injuries. Her condition, this morning was still serious.
