Vice-Regal
Yesterday morning the Gov-ernor-General inspected the engineering and stores headquarters of the National Airways Corporation at Christchurch Airport. Lady Fergusson visited the Jubilee Home, Woolston, of the North Canterbury. Hospital Board.
Later, Her Excellency was the guest of the Queen’s Club. The Governor-General and Lady F< -gusson then held a luncheon party at Elizabeth House.
In the evening His Excellency attended a tattoo of the Christchurch Tin Hat Club, held in the Winter Garden.
Her Excellency attended a performance of “Tales of the Arabian Nights” presented by the Canterbury Children’s Theatre.
