5OOO Gift To Royal Society
(N Z Press Association) - WELLINGTON, May 21. The retiring president of the Royal Society of New Zealand (Dr. C. A. Fleming) yesterday presented the society with a gift of £5OOO worth of local body stock to establish the “President’s fund.” The revenue is to be used to enable the preside'! to carry out his duties in representing the society at special meetings here and overseas.
