MANAPOURI DISPUTE
“Most Matters Resolved” Questioned yesterday on a Press Association report from Wellington on Manapouri power project rights, the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr S. W. Armstrong) said the parties met in Invercargill and Deep Cove under his chairmanship. The conference was of the parties in dispute, not a conciliation council, as stated in the Wellington report, he saiid. Mr Armstrong said most of the matters in dispute had been resolved. But actual agreement on tunnel incentive rates was completed after he had left the area.
