Boys’ And Girls’ Flower Show A Big Success

Because of the weather, many people had been doubtful about entering, but the annual show of the Christchurch Boys' and Girls’ Horticultural Society had been a big success, said the secretary (Mr D. L. Wilder). There were about 900 entries from 35 schools. Sixty-five schools were approached. some did not have entries, "but many entries came from further afield," said Mr Wildey.
