DISPUTE TO F.O.L.

Pulp And Paper Workers (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 12. The Federation of Labour has taken over the handling of the dispute between the Wood Pulp and Paper Workers’ Federation and N.Z. Forest Products. Ltd. The president of the Federation of Labour (Mr T. E. Skinner) said tonight he would get in touch with the employers immediately and seek the reopening of negotiations in an effort to bring about a settlement. The decision to hand the dispute over to the Federation of Labour was made unanimously at a joint meeting this afternoon of representatives of 18 unions. Mr Skinner said he hoped to arrange a meeting with the employers after Monday when he returned from a visit to Wellington.
