Echo II In Sight

The new American satellite, Echo 11, was observed for the first time at Auckland yesterday morning. It was seen at 2.44 a.m. by Mr F. K. Rodger, of Remuera, who watched it for about 10 minutes while it moved on a low arc in the eastern sky.—(N.Z.P.A.)
