Small Force Important

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 17. A small air force, such as the Royal New Zealand Air Force, was an important contribution to air power, in spite of its size, said the Chief of Air Staff of the Royal “So you see, your air force. Marshal C. R. Dunlap, today. He said N.A.TO. comprised air powers from 15 nations and the combined fchce of each nation represented a very powerful deterrent. “So you ese, your air force, small though it might be, is a vital contribution.” He believed there was more and more emphasis on conventional warfare with all nations placing as much reliance on tactical conventional weapons as on nuclear weapons.
