Stolen Goods Worth £lOOO (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 14. The Auckland police are anxious to trace the owners of a large haul of stolen property they have recovered. The property, which includes motor - mowers, chain saws, jewellery, cutlery, building and engineering equipment, is valued at wel] over £lOOO. The police spread the recovered property out on the floor of a large room at the Central Police Station this morning. Other articles included ladders and rivet guns. One trunk of carpenter’s tools was lined with a copy Of the “Newcastle Daily Journal,” dated 1886. The property was recovered from a house in the city during a police search earlier this week.
