Sections To Be Balloted
There are 24 applications for residential sections to be sold by the Lands and Survey Department, Christchurch. Several applications have been received for some of the sections, so a ballot will be held by the Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr N. S. Coad) on Monday morning. The sections are in Christchurch, Belfast, Halswell, Akaroa, Barrys Bay, Takamatua, Amberley, Oxford, Hawarden, Timaru, and Waimate. The prices range from £5O. to £7OO.
