Arrangements
All Canterbury freezing works will cease slaughter.rg on the afternoon of December 23 and. with the exception of one day. December 30 no killing will be earned out Between Christmas and New Year. Stock will be slaughtered on December 30, and killing will resume on January 2 This arrangement was arrived at after negotiations with the company managements and it has been confirmed by the secretary of the Canterbury Freezing Workers' Union <Mr S Arnsti.
