Sir.—Since ths arrival in Christchurch of Alfred Hitchcock’s latest thriller, “The Birds.” has anyone noticed a difference in behaviour, one way or another, by the local populace towards the many birds to be seen daily on the river banks and the squares of this city?—Yours, etc..
