PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Co-ordination Of Organisations Hie Presbyterian Women’s Mission Union, its auxiliary and the Presbyterian Women’s Fellowship will be co-ordinated into one organisation when the union holds its conference in Christchurch next week. The name suggested for the combination is the Association of Presbyterian Women. A new constitution will be submitted for approval to the general assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, which will be hi session in Chmstchurch at the tune, and it will then go on to the annual meeting of the combined women's organisations for adoption. A service will be held at St Paul's Church to mark the inauguration of the new association. The aim of the association is to unite the women of the church in prayer, study, fellowship and service. More than 200 delegates and associates from aU parts of the Dominion will attend the women's conference, which will be officially opened on October 30. As a bteak in heavy agendas set down for both the assembly and the conference, a garden party will be held at Rangiruru School on November 2 for delegates and visitors.
