Y.W.C.A.’s Work

Str,—lt is a pity that a wider circle of the public was not present to witness and appreciate the annual open house of the Y W.C.A. last week, when various groups demonstrated their activities. The performers obviously enjoyed themselves and so imparted pleasure and enjoyment to the parents and friends present, and their work was of an exceptionally high standard. Much credit is due to the devoted people who have guided and trained the members of the association—the young, and not so young—leading them to a fuller and a richer life. Some of them through their membership of the Y W.C.A. will become leaders of the future for good in the community.— Yours, etc., SUPPORTER. October 22. 1963.
