Nine Races On Labour Day (NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. The Welltagton Racing Chub will run nine totalisaitor races on toe final day. Labour Day, October 28, of its spring meeting.
■ It is tafcing early advantage A toe passing through its final stages yesterday of the Gaming Amendment Bill which permits nine totalisator races in any one day by a racing or trotting club. The bill now requires only Royal assent.
The chib’s ninth totalisaitor race on Labour Day will be What was intended to be a nan-tote novice event.
