Wellesley Stakes At Trentham "The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, October 16. Clipjoint, an acceptor for the Wellesley Stakes at Trentham. will not start. She arrived at Trentham with M. E. Ritchie's team this morning. but Ritchie said she would be kept for the handicap races later at the meeting. Skyline. from the same stable, did not make the trip. She is an acceptor for the Wellington Guineas. Blyton. one of the favourites for the Walnut Handicap, travelled well, according to Ritchie. Other arrivals tn Wellington today included R. B. Taylor’s team, which came by air from Blenheim and went on to OtakL Taylor has Careen, Robin Adair and Clnnaman engaged on Saturday. AU three were unaffected by the flight. St. Malo, one of the prominent Guineas horses, arrived in charge of his rider. N. Eastwood. Another arrival was Clayton King, which te also in the Guineas, Additional riding engagenentfi are C.
