Lordship’s Lameness

A start for Lordship In the Roydon Lodge Free-for-All at Hott Park next Saturday night is in doubt.

The Johnny Globe five-year-old was lame after finishing sixth in the National Handicap at Addington on Saturday, an effort not without merit in the circumstances.

Lordship had been under treatment for some months for needle splints, said his trainer, D. G. Nyhan, on Saturday. “They can take a long time to clear up properly. The only thing to do is keep on treating them and hope that they heal,” he said.
