Radiation Dangers
Sir,—Like R. S. Bigelow I I am of the opinion that, according to the reports I have read of Mr Roth’s public utterances, his tendency is to minimise the possibility of danger from radiation, rather than to stimulate public concern. This opinion was reinforced on one occasion when I her rd Mr Roth give a public at dress on the subject. If ha intention is to dispel public concern about this danger, he appears to have had some success, if one may judge from the letter of A. C. Macintyre. However, I feel sure that not many will share Mr Macintyre's touching faith in Mr Roth’s ability to protect us from danger which is everpresent and growing, in spite of soothing pronouncements to the contrary.—Yours, etc., FABIAN.
