“Outlaws”

Sir, —I read with disgust that the Christchurch branch orf the National Council of Women thinks that the TV western, “Outlaws,” is unfit for both adult and child viewers. Do they honestly think that they form an average cross-section of the public and can sit in judgment on the likes and dislikes of television viewers? And as for children, how many are watching at that hour of night? If the members orf the National Council of Women do not want to see films they do not like then the solution is: don’t watch them.—Yours, etc., VIDIOT. July 24, 1963.
