Wellington Cocker Spaniel Show

South Island dogs gained 13 first • places, four second places, and a third place, and many trophies at the Wellington cocker spaniel championship show recently. A golden cocker spaniel, Glorious Twelfth of Inverlock, owned by L. Mackie Adamson, of Orari, won the bitch challenge award and was the best dog of opposite sex in the show. Miss M Barker's Wax Paint ot Inverlock, from Orari, was the best dog puppy and was runner-up to the best puppy in the show. Woodwitch of Inverlock was the best junior bitch, and Pill Cody, a true colour, was best junior dog in the show.
