Bishopdale Church Of Christ
More than 350 attended the opening of the new Bishopdale Church of Christ in Greers road, on Saturday afternoon.
The church was opened by the Rev. A. J. Templeton. Dominion president of the Church of Christ. A service was held, followed by greetings from other churches of the denomination throughout the country. Among the guests were the minister designate, the Rev. R. A. Blampied and his wife from Nelson, the architect. Mr R. I. Taylor, of Auckland, and the home mission director, Mr W. B Burn.
