The Lyttelton gas supply account continued to show a substantial loss. the chairman of its finance committee Mr R H Duff told the Lyttelton Borough Council art its meeting last night The gas supply showed a loss of more than £3OOO for 1962-63. “How long can we continue to support what is an uneconomic proposition?" he Cr. Duff said he felt a complete reassessment should be made of the situation “It is obvious we will have to consider something about it.’’ he said.
