Sir, —The Akaroa foreshore is dark and malodorous and the sea is turbid with untreated sewage. Does the Health Department consider the harbour capable of re-' ceiving the extra effluent from the thousands of tourists the enthusiasts seek to promote?—Yours, etc., BUBBLE BUBBLE. June 9, 1963.
