WAIMAKARIRI RABBIT BOARD WARNING It is the intention of the Waimakariri Rabbit Board to aerial {poison the following areas in the Waimakariri and Ashley rivers. WAIMAKARIRI: North Bank of the Waimakariri river from Downes road upstream to the Tower on Forestry Idnd approximately 8 miles of area. The poison to be limited to the riverbed area and the adjoining terrace There will also be an aerial poison in the Waimakariri riverbed from the Gorge Traffic. Bridge downstream to the Tower. ASHLEY: South Bank from the Railway Bridge to the Okuku stream, and the Okuku. stream to the Ashley Gorge bridge. This poisoning will be carried out towards the latter end of June and early July, depending on the weather. POISON TO BE UFED: Sodium Fluoracetate “1080." LOCAL AUTHORITY: Waimakariri Rabbit Board.
