PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION AND SALE OF LAND PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 18 of the Reserves and Domains Act. 1953, IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that it is the intention of the Christchurch City Council at a meeting to be held on Monday, the 15th day of July. 1963, to consider and, if approved, to pass a resolution consenting to the revocation of the reservation over an area of 3 roods 4.9 perches of land being Lot 47. DP. 13562 (Res. 4535) and Lot 1, D.P. 16283 (Res. 4839), and requesting the Honourable the Minister of Lands to revoke the reservation over such land and declare it to be available for disposal by way of sale by private treaty. This refers to two small recreation reserves in Bower avenue. North New Brighton, which it is not proposed to develop as such on account of their close proximity to the newly-developed nine-acre park in that locality. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intentton of the Halswell County Council at its next Ordinary Meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, Halswell. on June 20, 1963, to make and levy the following rates and charges:— A general rate of One and Five-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Halswell. A separate rate of Zero sixpence (,06d) in the pound on the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the Halswell Drainage Area. A uniform annual charge of £1 5s on all those properties within the County of Halswell receiving a refuse collection. Water charges as set out in the Halswell County Bylaw 1961. ALL RATES as directed by Special Order of the North Canterbury Catchment Board the Christchurch Drainage Board and the Christchurch Transport Board on the capital value of the rateable property of the respective district's as are within the County. Such rates and charges to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1963. and ending on the 31st day of March. 1964, and shall become due and payable in one sum on the 12th day of August, 1963. at the County Office, 381 Halswell road.
