Waimate Club’s £364 Profit
The Waimate Trotting Club made a net profit of £364 on its operations last year said the president, Mr K. Rutledge, in his annual repojt. Both attendance and the on-course turnover were smaller at the annual race meeting, Mir Rutledge said In spite of a decrease in stakes the loss on the meeting had increased. The increase in profit had been brought about by reduced expenditure at the racecourse.
