LONDON May IS. Wakefield Trinity beat Wigan. 25-10. in the English Rugby League Cup final at Wembley on Saturday to win the trophy tor toe second year m succession.
After withstanding early pressure Wakefield showed mastery in all department* and led 5-0 at half-time. Wigan was unfortunate to have Its fullback, D Bolton, injured and off the field for 17 minutes at the start' of toe second-half
Long before the end Wakefield was in complete command, and played with superb confidence to score five tries and five goals to two tries and two goals. H. Poynfon. the Wakefield fhhalf. was voted the trophy for "the man of the match "
