i Dr. J. P. Clark On World Tour

On a tour to assist, advise, and - encourage Christians in mission fields close to New Zealand, and Australia. the Rev. Dr. J. Phillip Clark, general secretary of the Independent Board of Presbyterian Foreign Missions in the United States, will visit Christchurch on Saturday. Dr. Clark is also a member of the Commission on International Relations of the International Council of Christian Churches. Before visiting». Australia. New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, Dr. Clark toured Korea.

Dr. Clark served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1957. He has travelled extensively, speaking on missions and the ecumenical movement, and is at presept on his-third wbrld tour. He was an unofficial observer at the Third Assembly of the World Council of Churches in New Delhi in 1961, and was a press representative at the Central Committee meeting of the World Council of Churches in Paris in 1962.
