Award For Roofers
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 7. Wage increases of 10s a week or 3d an hour are provided for in a new Arbitration Court award for roofers, tilers and floor layers in the Wellington, Taranaki, Marlborough, Nelson and Westland industrial districts. The award, including the operative date of provisions relating to wages (April 5) incorporates the terms of settlement in conciliation. It includes an unqualified preference clause.
