New Rooms For Deaf School
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 6. Approval of a grant to enable acceptance of tenders for construction of additional classrooms at the School for the Deaf, Sumner, was notified today to Mr N. E. Kirk, member of Parliament for Lyttelton, by the Minister of Education (Mr Tennent). “Two new blocks, one containing four rooms and the other with two rooms, will be added to improve teaching conditions at the school,” said Mr Tennent.
