BIG SHEEP DRIVE

Earnscleugh Station (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 15. The annua) drive of sheep from the back country of the Earnscleugh station, near Alexandra, will start at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Seven mounted shepherds and 36 dogs will drive more than 14,000 sheep from the Fraser river to the drafting yards, a distance of about 12 miles. This drive is a feature of the year at the 70.000-acre station. one of the biggest in New Zeeland People from “he district gather on the station to watch the flock being driven down 3500 ft Prospect hill, the last stage af the drive.

It is expected the drive will take about three hours
