Travel Club

Mr F. P. S. Lu, lecturer in engineering at Canterbury University, gave his impression of the United States when he addressed members of the Canterbury Travel Club on Thursday.

A guest artist was Miss Jean Brunmng, a member of the cast of the Sadlers' Wells Opera Company who sang a bracket of songs accompanied by Mrs J. H. Cocks. Mrs N. Lewis, a visitor from California, was entertained at the meeting, and guests and new members were welcomed by Mrs H. Freer.
