Catholic Nurses Elect Officers
Members of the Catholic Nurses’ Guild were addressed by Miss B. O'Dowd, a lecturer in history at Auckland University, at their annual meeting at Christchurch Hospital. The following officers were elected: president. Miss V Milne: vice-presidents. Misses M. Darby and A. Simmonds: secretary, Mrs S. Day: treasurer, Miss M. Walsh; committee. Sister Mary Franclsca, Mesdames J. Mercer and G. Blackbume, Misses L. McNamara, L. Douglas, N. Mackie, M. Bourke, J. Waldron, M Connelly. M. Whiting and R Bain.
