Some Crossbreds Steady At Invercargill Sale

INVERCARGILL, Feb. 22. Prices for medium crossbred wools and finer were unchanged and coarser crossbreds were inclined in the buyers' favour, according to the official report on the second day of the Invercargill sale today. The report says that lambswool was firm and oddments were somewhat irregular. The offering on the day was 29,300 bates and it was put up before a full bench of buyers. Bidding says the report, was brisk, and passings were few The selection was similar to Wednesday s. All sections of the trade were operating on types suitable to their requirements.
