RECORD YEAR FOR BOND’S

(NX. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. The net profit of Bond’s Hosiery Malls (N.Z.), Ltd, is expected to be slightly more than £llO,OOO in the year ended January 19, according to a preliminary announcement from the company today. This represents a rise of more then 37 per cent, on last year’s £80,056 and is a record for the company. The previous highest figure was £85,347, earned in 1958-59.
The directors are recommending payment of a final dividend of 4d a 5s Share, pilus a bonus of 2d, making 9d or 15 per cent, for the year, compared with 13 1-3 per cent last year.
