Railway Open At Stratford

(N.Z. Press Association)

NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 7. The Stratford-Okahukura section of the New PlymouthTaumarunui railway line reopened at noon today for normal rail-car services. The line has been closed since January 10 after a cloudburst and slips. The main difficulty has been the tunnel at Tuhua, which was blocked with stones, mud, and debris.
