Salvation Army Anniversary

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 7. The 80th anniversary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand is to be marked by a visit from General W. Kitching, international leader of the movement, who will be accompanied by Mrs Kitching. He will attend the Wellington congress from March 12 to March 18 and visit Auckland from March 19 to March 21. During the weekend. March 30 to April 1, anniversary celebrations will be led by Commissioner A. J. Gilliard in Dunedin to mark the arrival of Captain George Pollard and Lieutenant 3. Wright at Bowen’s pier, Port Chalmers. on March 27. 1883.
