CYCLISTS PRAISED
Letters From Australia (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. New Zealand cyclists at the Perth Empire Games earned many commendations from Australian cycling officials, said Mr V. R. Ross, secretary of the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association today. He quoted the following tribute in a letter from the Amateur Cycling Association of Australia: “It was no fault of the team that they were not successful in winnina a gold medal. However, the goodwill created by them more than made up for the loss.”
