Pram-Pushing Begbies To Tramp Britain Next

AUCKLAND, Jan. 11. The pram-pushing Begbie family of Mount Albert were busy packing tonight for their biggest walk yet along the roads of England, Wales and Scotland. The family, Mrs Begbie, her 15-year-old daughter, Margaret. and two sons, David, aged 21, and Bruce, aged 17-will leave Auckland on Sunday in the Italian liner. Fairsea. _ With them will go the two English-model mams which they have wheeled some 3000 miles along the roads of New Zealand, They plan to push the
prams from Southampton to Land's End, through Wales and Scotland to John o’ Groats, then back down the east coast to London. Besides clothes and camping gear, they will carry with them a suitcase full of colour •tides and travel literature about New Zealand. They expect to be away about a year. While Mrs Begbie and her toree children tramp, Mr Begbie, an Auckland consulting engineer, will be staying at home. “He hasn't itchy feet tike the rest ot us,” said Mrs Begbie, “but he has accepted our nomadic ways.**
