MINOR FIRES
A unit from the St. Albans fire station attended a blazing tree on a City Council property in Westminister street at 3.35 pm yesterday. a 1996 car owned by Mr Henrietta Bader, of 8 McKenzie avenue, suffered moderate damage from fire outside the Heathcote Railway Station. One unit from Woolston attended at 3.36 p.m One unit from the Central fire station attended a chimney fire at 194 Bealey avenue at 8.13 pm. No damage was done.
